Maintenance Contracts

Possum AAC are pleased to offer an extended Service and Support Package (CASSP), on hardware only, to commence at the end of the year warranty period for your new Cameleon. Software cover and damage due to attempted repairs and physical damage resulting from manhandling, misuse or accidents are not included within the CASSP.

CASSP gives customers peace of mind by enabling them to purchase an extended maintenance contract which includes:

a back-to-base annual service check at the beginning of each support year purchased.

parts and labour.

carriage.

a basic loan machine whilst work is being undertaken, subject to availability.

Customers may purchase our Service and Support Package at a discounted rate if they purchase this option at the same time as they buy the Cameleon.

Training

 A training session in progress Adequate training is essential for effective use of your Cameleon system. Good use will not be made of complex AAC equipment without a comprehensive training package for the user. Possum AAC has worked closely with trainers to develop appropriate materials and training is provided through one-to-one on-site sessions.

Following delivery of your Cameleon by courier, a member of the Possum AAC team will visit for a half day familiarisation session. This is to ensure that you have a good basic understanding of your new system. This will be followed by the training package that you have decided to purchase.

Possum AAC recommend at least three days training is purchased with your Cameleon. These training sessions follow a formal, documented structure, providing thorough coverage to ensure that users and facilitators (parents, teachers, carers) can make optimum use of the equipment.
