 The
Access Gewa Prog is a programmable IR transmitter
designed specifically for people with cognitive or
motor impairments and/or visual impairments.
With the Access Gewa Prog it is possible
to ‘learn’ functions from other IR transmitters
(for TV, VCR, Hi-fi etc.). It is also easy to operate
many other functions to simplify every day life for
people with disabilities (door openers, lamps etc.).
The IR transmitter can be used by pressing
the keys or with single or multiple switch
scanning. There are many scanning methods such as
linear scanning or row/column scanning.
The transmitter has 36 large keys to
which symbols can be assigned.
There are 205 programmable functions
divided between 6 levels. Unnecessary levels can be
closed to simplify the system for the user.
