The Proteor DialO
is a dual-display text-to-speech Communication Aid. With both word and sentence
prediction, the DialO quickly learns the ways in which you choose to
communicate. The DialO can be connected to a printer and has a good battery
life.
The personal display on the DialO features four rows of text for
showing: messages being composed, up to five word prediction choices and a
sentence prediction choice. The rear display allows a partner to view two lines
of text. Both displays feature adjustable contrast and backlighting. The rear
display can be turned off for privacy.
The DialO is available with either an English Male or English
Female voice. Speech feedback is available at the character, word and sentence
levels as you create messages. You can choose to turn off all speech and simply
use the dual displays for visual feedback.
