The Gewa Prog
III is a learning infra red transmitter which can be
programmed to provide remote control of TV’s, videos,
stereos, intercoms, lights, doors and other domestic
appliances.
Prog III has a maximum of 161 different
programming positions distributed over 10 levels
which can be controlled by the integral keyboard or
by external switches. Single switches,
multifunction switches and also joysticks can all be
utilised.
When external switches are used, different
scanning options can be programmed to meet
individual needs. Auditory feedback is adjustable or
may be turned off completely.
It is also possible to programme macro
sequences which simplify the use of the Gewa Prog. For
example, pressing a single key can automatically
perform what is equivalent to pressing a sequence
of keys such as turning the volume down on the
television and then answering the telephone.
Prog III also has a serial interface for
connection to computers for programming,
control and back-up.
