Real Life Options (RLO) strives to provide self-directed support that puts people with disabilities in control of their own lives. We work to ensure they have equal rights as citizens and are entitled to receive support to maximise their independence and social inclusion, and to exercise choice about their own lives.

Just imagine – not being able to talk? Understand others? Make choices? Express ourselves? Being able to communicate is something that we all can take for granted and it is really devastating for a person who cannot do so, as well as for their family and friends. Sometimes, a person can be born with such difficulties, sometimes a person can have an accident or illness in life which takes away or limits that power. And power it is too – just think how we might feel if we could no longer choose, chat, or shout out! SBASCH works to support adults and children in communicating, and this may be in one of many ways.

The Sequal Trust, a small national fundraising Charity, founded in 1968, which is committed to bridging the communication gap for disabled people of all ages throughout the UK. It is our aim to help each of our disabled members to reach their full potential through the provision of suitable communication equipment. To help people to see the person and not the disability, and to provide the means to set lively minds free, continues to be our prime objectives. SEQUAL stands for Special Equipment and Aids for Living.
